Harpoon Authentic Microbrew & Fenway Park Tour

Visit and a tasting at Harpoon Brewery.
Harpoon Beers each have their own individual characteristics in terms of taste,
color and body. Their goal is to make beers that are distinctive and, most
importantly, a pleasure to drink. While each is different, they are all made

Take a behind the scenes look at the oldest Major League baseball park in the
country – the fabled Fenway Park and it’s infamous “Green Monster”. Stroll
the hall that “The Babe” strolled. Listen to the sounds of the cracking
bat, and drink in the history of Boston’s most beloved Red Sox. This is a
chance to be part of the team, see the locker rooms and tour baseball history.

today for a fun-filled adventure in historic Boston. You’ve never toured Boston in anything that comes close to Boston Duck Tours. The fun begins as you board
your “duck”, an authentic, renovated World War II amphibious landing vehicle.
You’ll be greeted by one of the legendary tour conDUCKtors, who’ll be narrating
your Boston City Tour by land and water. You’ll cruise by all the places that
make Boston the birthplace of freedom and the city of firsts… And just when you
think you’ve seen it all, there’s more. It’s time for “Splashdown”! as your
conDUCKtor splashed your duck right into the Charles River for a breathtaking
view of Boston.
The
“Ducks” will pickup at The Park Plaza Hotel and drop off at Faneuil Hall
Marketplace and hotel at the conclusion of the tour (approx. 80 minutes).

Freedom Trail Tour to include Cambridge, MA

Nowhere
can you see and feel the history of the Revolution as you can on the Historic
Freedom Trail “One if by land, two if by sea,” the lanterns where hung by the Old North Church to send Paul Revere on his historic ride. You will see the Old State
House and Faneuil Hall where our great leaders met, the Boston Commons, oldest park in America, the Bunker Hill Monument and the U.S.S. Constitution “Ole
Ironsides,” plus many other points of interest. We’ll also travel the short
distance or “over the river” to Cambridge, MA “crossroads of the universe”,
where we’ll view Harvard University, MIT and Harvard Square. This is a driving
tour aboard a deluxe Yankee Line motorcoach.
Again,
drop offs can be made (Marketplace & hotel).

JFK Library & Museum with Adams National Historical
Park
Sunday, June 18 – 9:00am – 3:00pm:
Admission to the JFK Library &
Museum. Step back into the re-created world of the early 1960s and the Kennedy
presidency. National memorial features three theatres, period settings and 20
dramatic exhibits.
After
our 2 hour visit to the JFK Library we’ll travel to nearby Quincy, MA and visit
the Adams National Historic Park comprised of the birthplace homes of Presidents
John and John Quincy Adams; the Old House, home to four generations of the
Adams family and the Stone Library.
Time
for lunch (on own) at Marina Bay in Quincy. Has a few restaurants, specialty
shops, etc. Nice area along the waterfront and has a lovely skyline view of Boston.

shows and movies. Hollywood experts board your motorcoach and provide
behind-the-scenes tidbits and insider information as you “See Boston thru Hollywood’s Eyes!” Tour guides provide behind-the-scenes trivia on such set-in-Boston TV
shows as “Ally McBeal,” “Cheers,” “Boston Legal,” and “The Practice,” and
movies including “Mystic River,” “The Thomas Crown Affair,” and “Good Will
Hunting,” and their stars
Tour
includes a deluxe Yankee Line motorcoach however there is some walking
involved.
Drop
offs at the conclusion of the tour can be arranged at Faneuil Hall Marketplace
(return to hotel on own) and the Park Plaza Hotel.

Freedom Trail Walking Tour (3 hours)

Your
guide will meet you at the hotel and begin the walking tour of Boston’s Freedom Trail. A walking tour of various historic sites from the Colonial and
Revolutionary Era. The Boston Common, The State House, Park Street Church,
Granary Burying Ground, King’s Chapel and Burying Ground, Benjamin Franklin’s
Statue and the Site of the First Public School, Old Corner Bookstore Building,
Old South Meeting House, Old State House, Boston Massacre Site, Faneuil Hall,
Paul Revere House and an interior visit to the Old North Church.
Tour
will end at Faneuil Hall Marketplace and group on own to return to hotel.
Guide will instruct them accordingly.

note that this is a very lengthy walking tour and not recommended for people
with any disabilities (heart problems, asthma, etc.).
